AN ADVENTURE IN MINIATURE GOLF BASED ON THE REAL-LIFE ADVENTURES OF CAPTAIN BARTHOLOMEW BAY

During the 18th Century,Captain Bartholomew Bay was one of the most feared pirates to sail the Seven Seas. Raiding ships the world over in his vessel "The Cat O'Nine Tails", he amassed a huge fortune and a reputation for cruelty. The dreaded pirate was known to drink rum mixed with gunpowder while he tortured unfortunate prisoners in his gruesome dungeon. On one occasion, he even cut out the heart of a rival pirate captain and ate it, thus earning him the nickname "Blackheart".

He built his hidden base and buried his vast treasure right here on what would become his family's land and in an attempt to safeguard his ill-gotten wealth, the cunning Captain "Blackheart" Bay composed phony maps and set fiendish traps to thwart any attempted thievery. However, Blackheart never got to enjoy his treasure, as he was lost at sea somewhere in the Bermuda Triangle. The legend of Blackheart's hidden fortune has attracted fierce bands of rival pirates from all over the world. They will stop at nothing to attain the gold, jewels and hidden plunder. Now you can live the adventure as you brave perils, pitfalls and pirates, all in an attempt to find... the lost treasure of Blackheart Bay.

Author, lawyer, philanthropist, first Mayor of Bayville - Bradley Bay was all of these, but his true passion was mountain climbing. Together with his wife, Beatrice, he would travel the world in an attempt to climb some of the world's highest peaks. The Matterhorn, Kilimanjaro, McKinley, Mont Blanc - he has scaled them all and more. He nearly perished when his 1957 expedition was

trapped in an avalanche on K2 for several days. But within six months he was leading another team to reach the summit of Nepal's Mount Makalu. In all, Bradley has conquered 11 summits, all above 4000 meters.

There seemed to be no peak too high for Bradley Bay to scale. In fact, it was his lifelong dream to one day reach the top of Mount Everest, the world's highest mountain. After three failed attempts (and several broken bones) he finally accomplished this goal in 1959. When he planted his small Bayville flag at the top of Everest, it was his proudest moment. To prepare for all these perilous ascents, he would vigorously train on this very climbing wall. Now,you can take the challenge; test your skill and endurance just as Bradley Bay once did. Explorer. Cartographer. Relic Hunter. Colonel Benedict "Wrong Way" Bay is all of these. Earlier this year, together with his trusty near-sighted navigator Foggy Smythe-Tomlins, Colonel Bay set out in his plane "The Cloud King" to map icebergs in Antarctica. True to his nickname, "Wrong Way" Bay made several miscalculations in direction and crashed in the jungles of the fabled land of Timbuktu. But life is an adventure and Colonel Bay set out to discover the secrets of this mysterious and danger-filled paradise.

Exploring Timbuktu's uncharted Walaango River Region, Colonel Bay discovered many valuable artifacts and Foggy was tragically eaten by giant carnivorous M'Tu-Tu flies. After surviving many dangers in the Forgotten Temple of Sheir-Lii and escaping almost certain death at the hands of the headhunting warriors of the T'Ungee Cult, Colonel Bay miraculously returned to the Cloud King's crash site and sent out an S.O.S.

While on expedition in the Amazon with her father, Colonel Benedict Bay, the young anthropologist, Dr. Brittany Bay, made a fabulous discovery - a type of monkey never before seen. Due to their unique appearance and commanding cries, he named them the "Baaru" which translates to "Monarch of the Jungle". Dr. Bay brought some of these amazing specimens back to Bayville to study and constructed this jungle treetop environment as a temporary home for the monkeys.

Now you have the chance to join the research team and view these unusual creatures, but first you must ascend into the jungle canopy. Navigate the rope bridges. Test your skill and stamina. How high will you go? Will you ever return to civilization? Do you have what it takes to climb into the treetops and live like the Baaru Monkeys?.

Master Sergeant Buster "Buzz" Bay was head of Bay Aeronautics Industries Inc. - a company known as a major innovator in the world of flight. In 1957 he launched what would soon become a phenomenon in aerial security – the Bay Surveillance Blimp. From these mighty air ships, trained officers would scout vigilantly for wrong-doers and crisis situations. And when they discovered any of these … they would

leap into action.

The Bungy Bounce training center in the Adventure Dome was designed by Buzz as the perfect way to ready his squad of Parachuted Protectors in the disciplines of sky patrol, air search and rescue, and cloud diving. No vile villain or dire situation was beyond the reach of what the papers dubbed the "Plummeting Policemen".

Among their many achievements were the foiling of the Blue Sky Gang, the capture of Oyster Bay Pearl Thief, and the rescue of countless kittens caught in trees. But progress changes everything. By the mid 1970's new forms of sky patrol were developed and Buzz retired in 1979. He set sail in his favorite airship, "The Eagle's Talon" , searching for new challenges. But not before donating the schematics of the Adventure Dome to the family archives.

And now, working alongside the original plans, top Bayville scientists have created a state-of-the-art Bungy Bounce in the Adventure Dome so that you can take the plunge and test your skill. The sky's the limit, so jump right in. Drop everything, dive in and become, as Buzz would say, a Flying Force For Freedom!

Where were you when the Martians invaded Bayville in June of 1996? Dr. Berkley Bay, scientific advisor to Global Units for Alien Research and Defense or GUARD , was in his truck full of top-secret gadgets on his way to his Bayville laboratory. He would not arrive that fateful day as the Martian Mothership landed near West Harbor Beach. And the Bayville Beach Balloon Festival was about to commence.

The local police force arrived to repel the monsters, but conventional weapons were powerless against the advanced technology of the invasion force from beyond the stars. That's when Dr. Bay noticed a child throw a water balloonat one of the Alien Soldiers. The bug-eyed beast shrieked and began to smolder – and suddenly disintegrated! Could hope be found?

His scientific mind spinning, Bay instructed everyone present to make water balloon missiles and lob them at the advancing alien army. Balloons were gathered from the Festival and filled with water from bottles, fountains, and the very Bay itself. The brave doctor even fashioned a sling-shot system from items in the back of his truck and the war was on. Against the people of Long Island … the Martians didn't stand a chance.

The remnants of the alien army fled back into space – defeated and disgraced. But would they return someday? Fearing this, Dr. Bay designed the Wild Water Balloon Wars training station to test the skill of future Martian fighters and to train them in the ways of Advanced Aqua Combat. There are heroic alien fighters who walk among us. Are you one of them? Grab a water balloon and find out!

In 1994, a team led by renowned Nassau County Adventurer and professor of archaeology Brentwood "Biloxi" Bay unearthed important archaeological discoveries in a sinkhole close to Tombstone Creek.

The 10,000 year old fossil specimens including Neanderthal teeth and bones from animals such as the saber tooth wolf, Pleistocene camel and dwarf Mastodon, as well as rare gems and ancient coins, represented the largest find in the Bayville area. Upon further examination it appeared that the creek itself was filled with fabulous artifacts and treasure. And some of it glowed with an eerie light never before seen.

But Tombstone Creek, named after the pirate graveyard it runs through, held other secrets. Deadly secrets that could change the course of life on earth. For renegade scientists from the shadowy organization S.W.E.R.V.E. – Scientific Weapon and Energy Research in Volatile Electromagnetism – had been searching for the ultimate power source. A power source that would help them to control the world. And they had found it in the artifacts of Tombstone Creek.

Baxter Bay's Mystery Funhouse was built in 1890 by Bayville's founder, flamboyant carnival

entrepreneur Bennett Balthazar Bay. It was the last project he worked on before his death in 1899.

At the time of its design the Funhouse was considered a marvel of modern technology and was the centerpiece of B.B. Bay's Carnival of Wonders.

The original fun house clown was Bennett Bay's younger brother Baxter. He made quite a name for himself in the early days of vaudeville and even performed for some of the crowned heads of Europe. Part of his act involved bizarre gadgets that would shock and astonish his audience. Baxter passed away in 1910 doing what he loved – performing onstage.

In 1969 control of the Funhouse was given to Baxter's great grandson, Benjamin. Donning the guise of his ancestor's famous role, Benjamin made nightly appearances at the Funhouse. But there was always something strange about Benjamin and rapidly the Funhouse itself began to get stranger and stranger. What will you find? Step right up and discover for yourself what is waiting inside The Mystery Funhouse.

This actual archeological excavation is the work of the intrepid treasure hunter, Brewster Bay who is responsible for many unique finds around the world. Last year, Brewster turned his attention to his hometown and the rich history of his family's land on Long Island. But he never imagined that he would uncover the remains of a lost civilization right here in Bayville!

And what an archaeological find it is! Mr. Bay and his research team have claimed this structure is

actually the forgotten Temple of the Hybaara cannibal cult. Many items have been unearthed, including ceremonial daggers, painted skulls, and other items used to create their fabled zombie mummies.

But before Brewster could unveil the entire site, his research team mysteriously disappeared. Search parties have entered, but none have returned and some say the site is cursed. There are whispers that the temple is actually a never-ending maze that holds a terrible secret. Now you are needed to find the missing treasure hunters … before it is too late.

At the last known expedition site, all that was left was a torn page from Brewster Bay's journal.

According to his notes, he has left clues to his whereabouts on four golden skulls inside the temple. Find the skulls and the clues. Put the clues together and solve the puzzle. Then all you have to do is find a way out! Race against the clock! Challenge your friends! Either way, it will certainly be an A-MAZE-ING adventure!

Beaches and Cream is the creation of prize-winning chef Basil Bay, bringing together his two passions– the seaside and extravagant treats. Known for his elaborate gingerbread houses, Chef Bay has traveled the world in search of tantalizing secret recipes and new flavors to serve right here in Bayville. He personally converted the family's garage into this charming dessert parlor.

It has become a tradition for the Bay Family to celebrate a successful adventure by partaking in a new and outrageous dessert produced especially for the occasion by Basil Bay himself. It became a kind of game to see which family member could bring in the most exotic ingredient for Bay to use in his celebratory desserts.

Working from a secret kitchen – the location of which is only known to members of the Bay Family - Chef Basil Bay continues to supply Bayville with decadent desserts and unique sweets. His desire is to always outdo himself and add delectable new tastes to old favorites. Step inside for a delicious culinary adventure!

After many years studying electronics and machinery in Europe, Professor Burton Bay returned home to Bayville in 1965 with a plan to build a new family business. He sought to combine his passion for old-time carnival tests of skill and fireworks to create truly explosive new games. Over the next ten years, Professor Bay transformed the old groundskeeper's quarters into an inventor's workshop and fireworks factory.

During this period, Professor Bay designed the games "Blow Up Billy", "Run-For-The-Rapids" and

"Wallop-A-Weasel" and the workshop exploded three times. Deciding to forgo the fireworks, Bay

focused solely on the creation of new and exciting games that would challenge both young and old. The workshop exploded only once during this time.

Undaunted by past catastrophes, Professor Bay restored the building once again in 1979 and is to this day making modifications to many of the games currently on display. Some of the upgrades were made using his trademarked highly unstable compounds. So, gamers … play at your own risk! Or as Professor Burton Bay would say, "Have a bang up time, everyone!"
